So What Items Come Standard In The Pond Kits ?
1) Pondless Waterfall Pump Vault & Rubber Liner
Not too big and not too small, the expandability of the Pondless® Waterfall Vault makes this filter perfectly sized to meet the need of any Pondless® Waterfall or Rainwater Harvesting System project.

Heavy Duty Geo-Textile Underlayment Fabric & EPDM Liner
|
Aquascape's liner underlayment helps protect and prevent tears in the liner while placing large rocks on top of it. The underlayment provides more protection and is easier to use than folding regular underlayment. Aquascape underlayment is for users who are looking to place rocks on the liner. The underlayment prevents from any rips or tears from happening on the liner as rocks are placed. Gravel and rocks can easily tear the liner.

3) Aquasurge High Efficiency Pumps
3) Pump or Circulation System
The proper size pump is extremely important for the aesthetics of a water feature. More importantly, an efficient circulation system will keep the water moving and provide the necessary oxygen levels for healthy fish and plants.
Choosing the right pump for your pond is often one of the most intimidating and important decisions that you will have to make. When shopping for pond pumps, don’t get fooled by a cheap price. Buy a pump specifically designed for pond use. Remember, unlike pond lights, your pond or water garden pump will need to run 24 hours a day.

You've Got Questions - We Have Answers!
What are the benefits of a pondless waterfall kit?
A pondless waterfall kit provides a complete, all-in-one solution for building a recirculating waterfall without the maintenance of a traditional pond. These kits are designed for safety and space efficiency, making them the perfect choice for families with small children or homeowners with limited backyard space.
What supplies are included in a standard waterfall kit?
Most kits from our retail store include a high-efficiency pump, a durable EPDM liner, underlayment, and a Waterfall Spillway or BioFalls filter. You also receive the necessary plumbing, seals, and a sub-surface basin or "vault" to house the pump and capture the recirculating water.
How do I choose the right pump for my waterfall?
The pump is the heart of your system, and its size depends on the desired width of your waterfall and the height it needs to travel. Our pump and plumbing experts can help you calculate "head pressure" to ensure your kit provides a beautiful, consistent flow of water.
Why is underlayment necessary for waterfall installation?
Underlayment is a protective fabric layer that sits beneath the rubber liner to prevent punctures from sharp rocks or roots. Using professional-grade installation supplies like non-woven geotextile ensures your waterfall remains leak-free and durable against the shifting Minnesota soil.
Can I customize the look of a pre-packaged kit?
Yes, while the kit provides the mechanical components, you have full creative control over the rockwork and landscaping surrounding the stream. You can choose different types of natural boulders and river rocks to create a unique look that blends seamlessly into your existing garden design.
What is a Waterfall Spillway and do I need one?
A Waterfall Spillway is a specialized installation product that creates a smooth, consistent starting point for your waterfall. It is easy to disguise with rocks and helps manage water flow, preventing "leakage" behind the liner and making the construction process much simpler for DIYers.
Are pondless waterfall supplies energy efficient?
The modern pumps included in our kits are designed for high-efficiency, continuous operation, often costing very little to run monthly. Many systems can also be paired with smart controllers or timers so the waterfall only runs when you are home to enjoy it.
Where can I buy waterfall lighting supplies?
We carry a full range of LED pond and water feature lighting that can be integrated into your waterfall kit during installation. Adding submersible lights highlights the movement of the water and allows you to enjoy your feature late into the evening.
How do I maintain the supplies in a pondless system?
Maintenance is minimal; you simply need to clear the pump vault of any large debris and add water treatments to prevent algae and mineral buildup. Because there is no open pond, the mechanical components are well-protected from the elements, leading to a longer lifespan for your equipment.
Can I get help with DIY waterfall installation?
Absolutely—you can visit our store in Bloomington to see display models and get expert advice on the installation process. We can guide you through choosing the right kit and provide the technical tips you need to build a professional-quality waterfall on your own.
